Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is served mainly by domestic airlines, flying to and from southeastern Louisiana.

There are two main terminal buildings (East and West) and four concourse areas (A, B, C and D), with a centrally located ticketing alley connecting the main spaces. Concourses A and B opened in the middle of the 1970s, while Concourse C opened in 1991 and was remodeled in 2007. Concourse D opened its doors and 12 operating gates in 1997.
